Fighter Jet Sonic Vapor Boom

I thought it was just so unusual and amazing when i found it. Long long ago my teacher told me that a fighter jet did a fly-by at very high speed and a big saucer shaped vapor dish formed as the jet went by the crowd. It probably looked just like this.

Starlight & Mars

It was taken on the top of the mountain on the island of Hawaii. What you are seeing iare the tops of the clouds. The long exposure clearly shows the Milky Way. The brightest "star" is actually the planet Mars. Mars was very close to Earth during the Summer of 2001. During the early evening it sometimes looked like a bright red LED light in the sky.
