This God is the Master of all the Gods of Fortune, also named the Guard of Treasures. He will guard and protect the Wealth, help avoiding unnecessary expenses (in Chinese culture, this is called 'money leaking').
Worshippers pray that God in order to keep away from need and poverty and therefore being able to worship with a peaceful mind (worshippers burn the Zambala incense at this practice).
Zambala incense is also known as 'Fortune Incense'; the strong and natural ingredients are those listed in the Holy Book of Buddha. It is strictly prepared according to traditional Tibetan Buddhist formula, using medicinal herbs and other precious ingredients.

Zambala is the name in Indian. Since the idea of the God of Fortune has been gone around Asia for hundreds of years, it has different names.
In China, there are so many folklores about the God of Fortune. One of the most popular story says that Zhao Xuantan(赵玄坛) is the name of the God of Fortune, who was born in the Song Dynasty.
In Japan, people worship the Seven Fortune Gods. (七福神, shichi fukujin), which refer to the seven gods of good fortune in Japanese folklore. They are often the subject of netsuke carvings and other representations.
