Replace Lost China Passport

The passport is very important for one to travel around, which means if you lost your passport, you have to station somewhere with trouble in keeping up with your traveling plan and daily things. The first step is to go to the nearby police station as soon as possible. Report the lost property at the local police station; write a report about the situation in which the passport was lost, after proving your own identity you should collect an official lost property certificate. Secondly, Go to the local City Public Security Bureau with necessary materials. Bring the lost property certificate issued at the police station, the personal report of the situation in which the passport was lost, two passport photos (no hats), your Foreigner's Temporary Residence Document to the local City Public Security Bureau where you can apply for a “Foreigner's Lost Passport Identification Document”.
Then, you must go to some relevant embassy to apply the new passport. To apply for a new passport at the relevant embassies in China you will need to show the “Foreigner's Lost Passport Identification Document” and other personal identification. If everything is ok, you can get your new passport in 3 days.
