Pacific Mall

By Madeleine on April 30, 2006

Pacific Malls, famous department stores, are owned by the Pacific Sogo Department Groups in Taiwan, which was founded in 1987. Now in Shanghai, there are three Pacific Malls. Goods of superior quality, favorable service, constant sales activities, have made it a shopping paradise for many customers.
The first one is in the well-known commercial circle in the Xujiahui, one of the most prosperous corners in Shanghai. Contributing to the facile transportation system in the Xuhui district, the Xujiahui has attracted so many foreign companies to invest here. With the help of the metro market, all the nine floors (including the underground floor) occupy an area of 30,000 square meters

The second branch is in the Ruian Square, at the crossroad of the Huaihai Road and the South Huangpi Road. The Huaihai Road, near the People’s Square, which is well-known for its elegant environment, is one of the most three flourishing commercial roads. 30,000 square meters for business consist of 8 floors, two underground, open to the public in 1997, and now it has become one bright pearl on the Huaihai Road.
The ever-bright city is the last branch, locating in the Gali building next to the Shanghai Railway Station. Having a great impact on the whole Shanghai, the Shanghai Railway Station is the centre of Shanghai transportation system for assembling and dismissing crowds. As the largest mall in the 6 northern districts in Shanghai, the whole area of it reaches 50,000 square meters.
As time passes by, the three Pacific Malls will still play a key role in Shanghainese daily life.
